Bournemouth International Centre sees the first UK installation of D8++ chain hoists, previous winner of the "Plasa Innovation Award".  D8++ units are virtually silent, have no brakes or clutch mechanisms, don't need expensive compliant control systems.

Hall Stage installed 20 of the 1000kg units, along with a lot of quality truss and some Metreel inertia cable feeders for the house lighting rig. With a combined lifting capacity of 18 tonnes, the venue should have plenty of use for the new grid in the coming year.
